CHEVY TRUCK INSTALL CONTINUED. . .
. . .
 |
 |
 |
| Reinstall the dash
assembly and bolt it solid along the windshield base and sides. connect the heater
cables. Drill and install the electrical junction box, brake booster bracket and
brake booster, wiper arms and motor. Install the instrument cluster, seats and seat
belts and we recommend our fiberglass repro dash which should last a lifetime. Plug
in the wiring harness route and tie-wrap it to the firewall. Be sure to keep it
clear of the exhaust. Before going further - make certain to ground EVERYTHING -
including the blower and wiper motors. |

Overall
Assembly
To secure the radiator - cut out the center section of the original
support. Measure the distance between the light support panels on the new
glass front end and cut the steel core support to be about 1/2" narrower. |
 |
 |
 |
| Paint and install
the newly modified core support with the original rubber mounts. To support the top
measure out some 3/4" tubing - flatten the ends - and attach it from the top of the
core support to the top of the firewall. |

 |
 |
| FOR CONVERTIBLE
MODELS the next step is to hang the roof. Once in place, firewall braces need to be
manufactured to prevent the firewall and cowl areas from shifting. Once these braces
are in place the cab should remain stationary. |
