CHEVY TRUCK INSTALL CONTINUED. . . . . . .

Next remove the dash mount bolts and fit the original dash assembly in place.  The dash leading edge flange may need to be bent or the side bolt holes may need to be elongated to install.   Put the dash in place and drill 1/4"  holes through the front of the dash flange into the air box area with 4" spacing, and temporarily bolt in place.   Also drill the steering column support brace and temporarily bolt, with 5/16" bolts, into the air box.  Once the fit of the dash is satisfactory - remove and set aside.
           
Put the nut plate assemblies for the door hinges in the new cab by reaching in through the floor vent holes and pop rivet them in place. 
Cab Installation
With 2 people position the new cab on the frame and center the cab from side to side - using the measurements acquired in the disassembly instructions.  It may be necessary to sand down the body mounts.  With an extension bit - drill up through the original cab mounts into the glass cab and temporarily bolt in place.   Remove everything - double check the fit of all assemblies including your doors, windshield, latches etc....  Off to the paint shop!
Cab Assembly
Predrill with a #40 bit - the holes for the floor vents.  then remove the vents.  Drill and install the interior door light switch.  Install the heater or A/C duct by reaching in the vent hole and tightening with new bolts.  We recommend fiber lock nuts at all locations.  After securing the heater install the floor vent panels - the top rear of the left vent may need to be sanded down approx. 1/2".
